Happy Int’l Women’s Day y’all!
I have some housekeeping to address before I get into my fun and exciting news! I have decided to make this newsletter free again. After trying out a paid version for a month, I decided it’s not in line with the direction I want to take Type Du Nord. So going forward the weekly emails will all be free! This also means that any previous paid post is now unlocked, catch up here. <3
Okay, now for the real reason we’re here. MY WEBSITE IS DONE!!! I truly never thought I would say those words but wowowow the relief I feel right now is unmatched!!
Originally, I was going to share the site in a monthly update on Monday but I had a lil melt down over it on Sunday night. I decided to give myself another week to sort things out — I didn’t want to share the site with stress vibes!! Turns out that websites love to break over every little thing. The drama!!
As I’ve said before, the site only has Dingbats for sale right now but if you’d like to purchase them, here is a coupon for 15% off! This code will work until next Friday.
COUPON CODE: WELCOMETOTHEWORLDTDN
Next week, I’ll talk in more detail about the site development and the things that came up along the way. But for now, please buy my dingbats!!
I saw Dune 2 this week and loved it! I thought it was 10x better than the first one and I didn’t even mind that it was 3 hours!
I’ve been really into watching home tours on Youtube (a reoccurring phase of mine) and one youtuber I really love right now is Paige Wassel. Her style is so good and I love that she’s not a “like, comment, subscribe” kind of youtuber. She’s also from the midwest which always counts for bonus points in my book!!
Lately I’ve been day dreaming about getting into woodworking and making my own furniture. I’m lowkey obsessed and if you’re curious about the stuff I want to make, check out my furniture pinterest board: https://www.pinterest.com/libbiebischoff/diy-furniture/
Speaking of furniture and making things, my all time favorite DIY book I own is called Bright Ideas For Your Home by Per Dalsgaard and Elisabeth Erichsen. It’s from 1978 and filled with the cooooolest furniture projects. It’s also like $5 on thriftbooks so you can’t really go wrong!!
It’s been raining nonstop where I live lately and so I’ve been listening to my moody fall playlist a lot. It’s mostly sad indie music from the 2010’s mixed with oldies. The ultimate comfort playlist. Check it out here:
Until next week!
