Part Two of My Sketchbook

This email is quite long and may get cut off — please click here to read the whole thing. I recommend viewing on desktop for optimal sketchbook viewing.
Hey y’all!
Welcome to the second half of my sketchbook! Despite the fact that it took me about 1.5 years to finish this one — this feels like a huge accomplishment! Of course, there is absolutely no need to rush things like this. The only pressure I face is an embarrassing amount of empty sketchbooks that need filling.
My process hasn’t really evolved since the first installment. I am still working on whatever I feel like! There’s no pressure for me to make letters, draw anything difficult, or challenge myself in any way. I do occasionally try to draw people or scenery because I find realism difficult and would love to get better at it. My only rule is that I don’t spend more than 30 minutes in my sketchbook. I could draw for hours if I get into it!
I love color, collage, paint, ink, markers, crayons, oil pastels, stamps, and fancy pens. I struggle with colored pencil, watercolor/gouache, and being precise in any way.
Most of my supplies come from local art stores or are thrifted/second hand. There’s an art thrift store one town over and it’s such a gem! They always have the most random assortment of paper, stamps, old magazines, and art books. It has definitely given me new ideas and fun things to play with!
Alright, I will stop yapping now!! Here it is! And remember, don’t tell me if you don’t like it!!
Sketch ya l8r!
