Sketchbook No. 2!

Hello!
I am bringing you another full sketchbook! I am very proud to fill TWO in a row without getting bored and buying a new one! And I have already started the third. <3
My sketchbook philosophy is that it should be a place to have fun and experiment. I try to never spend more than 30 minutes on a drawing and I use it as a pleasant way to start each work day. My drawings are not intended to be perfect or polished pieces of art. It’s just for me and it’s just for fun!
After keeping this up for about 2 years now, I have seen a huge difference in my work outside the sketchbook. My brain feels more primed to think creatively, my design work has gotten better, and it feels easier to come up with solutions for design problems. When I started doing this, it felt a little frivolous to just use a sketchbook for fun and not “serious art” but I’ve grown a lot because of it!
This sketchbook was made by Romina of Tortilla Studio and she made it using a lot of different kinds of paper. There’s construction paper, cardstock, regular paper, grid paper, and even some vellum. It was super fun to have a different kind of paper to use each day. I customized the cover with some quilted fabric, plastic gems, and some ribbon I had! It was very fun to have a fully handmade sketchbook.
Without further adieu, here it is:
Tell me you’re proud of me!!
